Choose a platform low enough that the working thigh stays below parallel. Place the whole foot on top, lean slightly forward and drive through that leg without pushing hard from the trailing foot. Step down quietly and under control. Do 3 sets of 8–12 reps per leg or alternate for 45-second intervals. Use a wall for balance if needed. Increase height only after the knee consistently tracks over the toes and the descent remains smooth; a taller step is not automatically a better workout.
